We are currently looking for a passionate, highly dedicated and organised Sous Chef to join the team in Garden Kitchen & Bar. You will be given the responsibility of supporting the Chef de Cuisine and assist with leading the team, always ensuring consistency in high quality product and service standards. 

A few of your responsibilities

• Monitoring of daily operations, payroll, costs, and guest satisfaction
• Participate in preparation of menus
• Develop training plans and support daily learning
• Participate in shift briefings to ensure a smooth operation

What are we looking for

• Leadership experience working in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment
• Experience driving quality and consistency, with a passion for a diverse range of food
• Previous knowledge of food and labour cost controls
• Cert 3 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Basic computer skills essential
• Full working rights to commit to 40 hours a week which can include day shifts, evenings, weekend and public holidays
